Opens on Chapters 13 and 14’s example: Ruby’s 27 red beads and 35 blue beads (Chapter 13). For Chapter 14’s unit bars, choose a kind under “Units”: it starts on Ali and Jada’s 48 stickers.

Enter the numbers from the worksheet, then press Show me.
From the book, Chapters 13 and 14. Ruby’s beads are one bar in two parts: 27 + 35. Ali has 3 times as many stickers as Jada and they have 48 together: Jada’s bar is one unit and Ali’s is three, so 4 units are 48 and a unit is 12. Ali has 36, and 24 more than Jada. With algebra it is x + 3x = 48; the bar is the same equation, drawn.

Every step is worked exactly, the way the chapter does it. Everything stays in your browser: no sign-up, nothing stored or sent.
