Found a mistake? Tell us.

These books are checked carefully and are still not immune to error. If a number does not reconcile, a figure disagrees with its text, or a method did not work as written — please do not assume you misread it.

Confirmed corrections

None confirmed yet. No correction has been confirmed for any book so far. When one is, it is listed here by book, with the date, the page and what the line should say.

Report a mistake

Say which book, where, and what looks wrong. If you have worked the sum yourself, your working is the most useful thing you can send.

What this form sends. The four boxes above, and nothing else — no account, no cookies, no tracking. It goes to the author. If you leave the email box empty, the report is anonymous and nobody can write back to you. A report is read by a person; a confirmed correction is listed on this page and goes into the next printing of the book.
